What does the Deactivate / Activate button do on my profile?

If you click on the deactivate / activate buttons in your profile, that will simply deactivate or activate your listing. But what does that mean? If you want your listing to show up in the search results for that property's specific college(s), then you will want to activate the account. You will know you property is activated when it says ACTIVATED and the background of the property is green.

But let's say your property just got rented out to someone and it will be available again in 6 months. You don't have to delete the property from your account and then have to go back in 6 months and submit that same property. All you simply have to do is deactivate the property so it will not show up in the search results. This is a great feature that HOME JOTTER provides, that our competitors do not provide. You will know you property is deactivated when it says DEACTIVATED and the background of the property is red.

So if you want your property to be listed in Home Jotter's search results, all you have to do is hit the activate button. If your property has been rented out, you can delete it. But if you want to save the data for the future, all you have to do is his the deactivate button.
